In Iceland the number of foreign tourists has more than doubled since 2010. The average yearly growth rate has been 21.6% since 2010. The biggest increase was from 2014 to 2015, or 29.1%.
We started reserving hotel rooms for our guests already in the fall of 2014. This made it possible for us to ensure you an accommodation in 2017. Now we are under pressure from the hotels to fill our reserved blocks. There are tourists queuing up for those rooms and some of the hotels are already having shortage of rooms, still holding on to our blocks. We do not know how long we can hold on the reserved blocks. That is why we have to accelerate our Early Bird price to the 1th of December.
