Abstract
Working with intensive family therapy on a daily basis, we meet families who struggle with severe symptoms in their youth or children. In our work we find that enhancing the child’s voice in joint sessions with parents and children present, is an important contribution to evoke positive change in family function and wellbeing.
Our experience with children in family therapy sessions, is that the child sometimes has problem with expressing itself only by using verbal speech. We therefore use different methods to help the child express itself. In this workshop we will like to focus on these different methods – showing how to use them through practical examples and case-studies.
